A short film about the BerlinOdessaExpress initiative, filmed by Meet The Good Ones, is in the running for two film awards. You can still vote for them.
The good news came in quick succession – and we at WE AID are celebrating the initiative and its supporters, Meet The Good Ones, who have already made a name for themselves for their clips on socials spotlighting people doing good. They are now getting some well-deserved attention. But first things first:
AWARD Chance 1: The short film “WE ARE HERE” by “Meet The Good Ones” is FINALIST at the legendary SMILEY CHARITY FILM AWARD (which actually goes back to the inventor of the legendary “Smiley” icon) in its category! Out of a good 500 films submitted, that’s 25. WOW! We had hoped for attention for the wonderful humanitarian spirit of the initiative after RadioEins had already reported on their Christmas campaign. But we wouldn’t have dared to hope that they would be among the finalists (okay, we hoped, but it’s still a small miracle – smile allowed). VOTE please, THANK YOU!
AWARD Chance 2 – The initiative informed us that they have also submitted the film for the legendary GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE “BETTER WORLD VIDEO AWARD” (by Royal Geographical Society). There it is now in the voting! YOU can vote for the film until 25.02.2024:
